A Clear Sign

You know it's time to upgrade a size in diapers when....
Or quite beverages past 6 pm when...
Or she's been using a birdbath as a lounging chair when...
Or she's been splashing in puddles when...
... you find in the morning that she's soaked all of her clothes almost to her armpits. The soakage went clear through her blanket sleeper.

Yeah. I agree with you there.

Bub's wearing size 4s when he's in disposables these days. I take it she was wearing a 3?

Did you see that they're making overnights now in diapers for sizes 3, 4, & 5?

I know with my Princess that she could even soak an appropriately sized diaper during the night. Something to look into if the upsize doesn't work...

The funny thing is, the tape meets in the front and can even overlap if she hasn't just eaten. Maybe we have to switch to something besides Target brand. We have her in a size 4. I think I'll try not giving her drinks after 6 for a few nights and see how much soakage happens. Those overnights sound like a good idea if she keeps it up.

Is she having a gap around her legs? Princess went through a phase where the diaper would puff up from a little wetting enough to cause a gap that she would then flood through.

Not that I've noticed. She always had those red lines that indicate longer-term garment pressure.

You know, come to think of it, I was giving her a bath last night and she was using a toy spoon to drink bath water.... I wonder if she completely OD'd on bath water the night before this soaking.

::shudder:: I think I'll bleach the bath tub today.
